The Tara Karamlou Conference Scholarship is a scholarship sponsored by Dr. Tara Karamlou, one of TSMA's advisors. This scholarship will be given annually to TSMA members who are presenting a poster or oral presentation at a CT surgery or CT surgery-adjacent conference to cover the costs of traveling to the site of the conference. This scholarship will be awarded with an emphasis on supporting students with low resources and a lack of exposure to CT surgery at their institution. One recipient will be selected by a predetermined scholarship committee to receive the award.
